Instructor-Led Training is the traditional classroom format, where I bring all necessary equipment—including a laptop, projector, screen, and audio system—to guide you through the course materials. In this format, we go through the book, watch videos, and engage in discussions. While this method provides a more structured learning experience, it does take longer, typically ranging from 3 to 6 hours depending on the course selected.
This option is available for both American Heart Association (AHA) and American Red Cross (ARC) certifications, including:
While many large companies prefer this method, we understand that not everyone has the time for an extended session. Let us know your preference, and we’ll be happy to accommodate you!
The New Method offers a more flexible, efficient way to complete your certification. Each individual, or your entire group, completes the online portion of the course, which includes watching videos and participating in discussions. Participants receive the same, if not more, attention than in a traditional class setting because they are required to engage actively. At the end of the online portion, participants print their participation certificate.
Then, I bring only my CPR manikins and first aid materials to your location, where I’ll provide hands-on training and conduct the skills testing. This process takes about one hour in total.
This method allows for a quicker, more personalized experience while maintaining the high quality of instruction you expect.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification is available for individuals 15 years and older. A swim test is required for entry into the course, and candidates must pass the swim test, brick dive, and treading water test before being accepted.
This course is typically offered once a year, but private sessions can also be arranged.
The Lifeguarding course follows a blended learning format, consisting of 7 hours online and 21 hours of in-water and classroom instruction. Topics covered include:
